Integral Active Steering

Integral Active Steering varies the front steering ratio (amount of steering wheel rotation required to turn a given corner), based on vehicle speed and other driving conditions. It reduces steering wheel rotations (thereby reducing driver effort) required during low speed maneuvering and increases steering wheel rotations required during high speed maneuvering (the latter reducing the likelihood the driver will turn sharply at high speed, thereby helping maintain high speed stability).
